📜 What is Authorities, Assessment, Compliance and Recovery?
Chapter XI sets out the framework for assessment, compliance and recovery of social security dues. It includes appointment and powers of Inspector-cum-Facilitators, maintenance of records and returns, prohibition on reducing wages to meet contribution obligations, assessment and determination of dues, appeals, interest, damages and various modes of recovery including application of income-tax recovery provisions.
अध्याय XI सामाजिक सुरक्षा देयों के निर्धारण, अनुपालन और वसूली की रूपरेखा प्रस्तुत करता है। इसमें निरीक्षक-कम-सुविधाकर्ता की नियुक्ति और शक्तियाँ, अभिलेख और विवरणियों का संधारण, योगदान देनदारी को पूरा करने के लिए मजदूरी घटाने पर प्रतिबंध, देयों का निर्धारण और आकलन, अपील की व्यवस्था, ब्याज और हर्जाने की वसूली तथा आयकर अधिनियम की कुछ प्रावधानों सहित विभिन्न वसूली साधनों का उल्लेख है।
