Chapter VI collects cross-cutting administrative and enforcement tools. Section 13 mandates compliance with any direction issued by the Central Government in relation to online money-gaming services. Section 14 provides for blocking of information/content relating to such services for public access using the Information Technology Act, 2000 (Section 69A procedure), notwithstanding anything in this Act. Section 15 authorises the Central Government—by notification—to empower specified officers (Central/Authority/State) with powers of investigation for offences under the Act. Section 16 enables authorised officers to enter any place (including digital spaces, computer resources, virtual storage and electronic records), search and arrest without warrant, with BNSS, 2023 safeguards and prompt production before a magistrate/SHO when the officer is not a police officer. Section 17 grants protection for actions taken in good faith. Section 18 ensures the Act’s provisions are in addition to other laws and gives them overriding effect in case of inconsistency. Section 19 confers rule-making power on the Central Government and lists matters that may be prescribed, including Authority composition, recognition/categorisation/registration procedures and other functions. Collectively, these provisions make the prohibition regime technically enforceable and adaptable through subordinate legislation.
