This chapter lays down the institutional framework for resolution of industrial disputes through conciliation officers, Industrial Tribunals and National Industrial Tribunal. It covers constitution, powers and procedures of these authorities, conciliation processes, reference of disputes, binding nature and period of operation of settlements and awards, recovery of dues and confidentiality of certain matters.
