Form 8 – Application for Correction of Entries in Electoral Roll फॉर्म 8 – निर्वाचक नामावली में प्रविष्टियों के सुधार हेतु आवेदन
Form 8 is used by existing electors to correct errors in their name, age, gender, photograph, EPIC number or other details recorded in the electoral roll.
फॉर्म 8 का उपयोग पंजीकृत मतदाता द्वारा अपने नाम, आयु, लिंग, फोटो, एपिक संख्या या निर्वाचक नामावली में दर्ज अन्य विवरणों में सुधार हेतु किया जाता है।

To request correction of existing details in the electoral roll without changing the constituency.
निर्वाचक नामावली में दर्ज मौजूदा विवरणों में सुधार कराने हेतु, बिना निर्वाचन क्षेत्र बदले।
Who can use this form? कौन इस प्रपत्र का उपयोग कर सकता है?
Existing electors whose details in the electoral roll contain mistakes or have changed (for example, spelling of name or age).
वे पंजीकृत मतदाता जिनके निर्वाचक नामावली में दर्ज विवरणों में त्रुटि है या जिनमें परिवर्तन हो चुका है (जैसे नाम की वर्तनी, आयु)।
When should you use it? इसे कब उपयोग करें?
Used during SIR and also in continuous updation whenever corrections are noticed by voters or by election authorities.
SIR के दौरान तथा सतत अद्यतन प्रक्रिया में जब भी मतदाता या चुनाव प्राधिकारी द्वारा किसी त्रुटि की पहचान हो, तब इसका उपयोग किया जा सकता है।
