Form 8A – Application for Transposition of Entry in Electoral Roll फॉर्म 8A – निर्वाचक नामावली में प्रविष्टि के स्थानांतरण हेतु आवेदन
Form 8A is used when a voter shifts residence within the same constituency and wants their electoral roll entry shifted to the new part or section corresponding to the new address.
जब कोई मतदाता उसी निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के भीतर नया पता अपनाता है और अपनी निर्वाचक नामावली प्रविष्टि को नए पते से संबंधित भाग या खंड में स्थानांतरित कराना चाहता है, तब फॉर्म 8A का उपयोग किया जाता है।
Purpose of this form इस प्रपत्र का उद्देश्य
To request shifting (transposition) of an existing electoral roll entry from one part or section to another within the same constituency.
उसी निर्वाचन क्षेत्र के भीतर निर्वाचक नामावली में दर्ज प्रविष्टि को एक भाग या खंड से दूसरे भाग या खंड में स्थानांतरित कराने हेतु आवेदन।

Registered electors who have changed their residence address but continue to reside within the same Assembly or Parliamentary constituency.

Frequently used during SIR when households shift locally and want their polling station and part number to reflect the new address.
